Have your pork, and eat it too.

Pig_Share_ImageWe have a limited number of shares of pastured,, organically-raised pork available to the public. Each share is 1/8 of a pig (about 25 pounds), and is available for a $250 donation. Each share supports our Farm and Garden programs — and you get some really tasty and sustainably-raised pork out of the deal!

Ideal for holiday cooking, and perfect for splitting between a couple families, your share will include uncured roasts and chops, as well as cured ground sausage, bacon and ham. Pork will be available by December 16 (Pick-ups will be arranged throughout southern California.)

There are only 12 shares available, so reserve yours now by calling 760/765.0028 or emailing AshleyATcampstevensDOTorg.

Are you curious about how/why we raise pork at Camp Stevens?

  1. Just a technical note that you should not call the cost of the pig share a “donation.” Donations are the amount of $ made to charities for the public good. If it involves an exchange of $ for goods or services it is a transaction.
