This coming Monday, November 12 is Wear Your Camp T-Shirt Day, and it’s for a good cause. Join the event over on Facebook, and when you submit a photo of you in your Camp Stevens t-shirt, $5 will be donated to the Red Cross.
Up here in Julian we’re using the “holiday” as the perfect time to kick off a new project, Camp Stevens Around the World:
Our community has many stories to tell and — you know what they say — a picture is worth a thousand words. Help us tell the story of Camp Stevens around the world by sending us photos of you in a Camp Stevens shirt (any Camp Stevens shirt!) somewhere interesting. Maybe you’re at Disneyland, on top of a mountain or on the Great Wall of China: Anyplace will do! Send digital copies to ashleyATcampstevensDOTorg or hard copies (with a self-addressed stamped envelope if you’d like the original returned) to P.O. Box 2320, Julian, CA 92036.
We’ll display these in the Dining Hall hallway for all visitors to see, and post them regularly here on the blog and Facebook too.
Don’t have a Camp Stevens shirt? Send us a check for $15 and your size, and we’ll send you one.
Get your washing machine a-running, and your Camp Stevens shirts ready for Monday, and for your next adventure — Don’t forget to send us the photographic evidence!
