That’s a First: A Family Affair

Here’s a story from Summer Camp Director Trevor Graham-Wilcox:

I first came to Camp Stevens for Thanksgiving Family Camp in 1992. My immediate family attended along with our Grandmother and stayed in St. Paul’s on Girls’ Hill. My siblings had all been to summer camp before, but it was all new to me. I remember the camp seeming like a magical dreamland, especially considering the expansiveness of the high-ceiling Dining Hall and the perfection of places like Pond Meadow. Archery was cool too.

2012 marks the 60th year of Camp Stevens. Over the next few weeks – leading up to our September 2nd Open House celebration – we’ll be sharing people’s reflections on their first times at Camp Stevens. Share your story by emailing ashleyATcampstevensDOTorg.
