As seems to be the case around the country, we’d been having quite the mild winter. We hadn’t had snow since November, and the staff could be seen wearing flip flops in the heart of January. That is, until about three weeks ago, when the atmosphere decided to take Punxutawney Phil seriously and extend the winter.
And a lot of it.
We got over 2 feet earlier this week. It’s beautiful. It’s wet. And, two days later, it’s quickly melting as that San Diego sun is making its presence known once again, to the tune of 72 degrees.
